various other musicians have contributed to YEARLONGDAY. in october 2006, leah l’orange united with jonathan t marlowe to provide vocal harmonies and light percussion, both in live performances & recordings. BEST EXCUSES, the debut studio album from this line-up, was released in july 2009.

in 2008 and 2009, weston rinker & dave parkhurst added drums & bass to YEARLONDAY’s stage line-up. in 2010, that combination of musicians & instruments was changed to john shaughnessy on drums and steve goldstein on lead guitar. no studio recordings were made with these members.
